my hometown~~

most of my fren noe my hometown at ipoh.
but few of them noe my exact hometown is at menglembu,perak~~

there was famous of 'kacang menglembu'~
haha,just brand is 'kacang menglembu'~~
peanut quite nice la,and before reach my house,really can see big big peanut as the sign for this city~XD
as u all known,ipoh was very famous wif the nice food~~
u all sure noe some of the food like taugeh chicken hor fun mee,hiong bing,salted chicken and so on~
but if u r not really stay at ipoh for longer time,u won't noe mostly nice food was at the stall,nearby roadside or even sometime like a house one~~
place for those nice food quite old and if some rich people very care of the condition,they won't visit those place one~
for eg:

1. laksa at 'da shu jiao'(Ipoh Famous Laksa (Tai Shu Geok) 怡保驰名-大树脚忠记炸料粉)

as u all can see,laksa very nice,really sour and spicy!!
won't like common stall,just sweet and sour~~^^


2. apam balik(but ipoh there called da kuai mian-大块面)
seriously,when I came to kl,i really just name this one as 大块面,then people ask me,what's that??
then i reply,u dunno meh???haha...after that I also dunno how to tel them ady,but after sometime,i saw this name at pasar malam,then noe it's known as apam balik~~
however,apam balik at ipoh one quite different,perhaps less santan,and more peanut inside,so taste better~
some of them just very thin,crispy,and nice to eat one~~so different wif u all eat one~


3. wan tan hor~
some of u all sure think,what's special of it??
actually i felt this one which sold at market,menglembu quite nice,colour won't so dark(cos put kicap hitam), and a little bit sticky(not over too),and the taste not so salty or even sweet too~~
this one I found it cos I stayed there for more than 20 yrs ady.lol...
if hav chance,sure I go to market and buy this mee one~~ ^^

actually there's a lot of food at menglembu,some of them quite common,like ice kacang,wan tan mee,and so on~
but seriously,the taste really different from outside ipoh and u must taste them if u hav chance!!
